Founded in 1990 by the Reverend Deacon Judy Borzamato, The Rondout Valley  Food Pantry has been dedicated to serving those “at-risk” for over 25 years.
The pantry was started in the basement of Christ the King Episcopal Church’s rectory and funded largely by parishioner donations and discretionary funds of Deacon Judy.
Over the years the pantry has evolved into a much larger, independent entity and is registered as a charitable 501 (c) 3 organization in the State of New York.
The pantry is entirely staffed by volunteers from all walks of the community and is supported by several local businesses, civic and religious organizations, and many dedicated individuals.
