Huge thanks to the High Falls Fire Department!! We just learned that they are donating the proceeds of their Fall Breakfast Buffet (held on November 5th) to the pantry!! A total of $1956.00 <3 The timing of this donation could not better as we prepare Thanksgiving Baskets for over 160 families and are starting work on our Christmas baskets. Thank you to our first responders for this generous donation and for volunteering and protecting our community. Their next Buffet Breakfast will be in the spring! Thank you to our community for supporting events like this! Your contributions make a difference.

A huge thank you to the Scouts, their families and everyone in the community who contributed to the Scouting for Food Drive. With your help, over 4,000 items were collected, filling our shelves to bursting and providing many of the needed items for the 160 Thanksgiving baskets being distributed this year! Your support is amazing and appreciated!!

A great big thank you to everyone who came out to participate in 99's Dining for a Cause!! Because of you the RVFP will be receiving over $300!!

Thank you to the Rondout Valley 4-6 Student Council and their educators, families, and friends for hosting "The Red Nose Campaign", a national campaign with a Rondout "blue nose" twist. Students collected pledges and were then allowed to wear a blue nose for the day! Thanks to this fun event event and their efforts, they collected $278 for the pantry. Many thanks!!

We are thankful to Hannaford for their donation to the RVFP through their "Fight Hunger Bags" program as well as for a private donation to our Backpack Program.

We are thankful to be the recipients of the FedEx Services grant, which is providing funding for our General Food Distribution and Milk Card programs. We have also received a grant through the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY, which will be used for our General Food Distribution! 

A huge thank you to Hurley Ridge Market. On their last day, they called us with the offer of a huge donation. With the help of our volunteer crew we brought in over 1100 items! For those of you who do not know the Hurley Ridge market was purchased by Hannaford. The store closed its doors and will re-open as a Hannaford at the end of August. We are so thankful that they thought of us!!

We are very thankful to be receiving a grant from Hudson Valley Farm Fresh Food Fund of the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley. The grant will be equally divided between our Summer Breakfast/Lunch Program and our Holiday Basket Program.
